He needs time – Guardiola backs Koeman to get Barca back on track

Pep Guardiola believes Ronald Koeman needs a little more time to get Barcelona playing the way he wants as the first Clasico of the season looms this weekend.

There was a time when Guardiola and Koeman were team-mates and room-mates for away trips with Barcelona, going their separate ways in 1995 when Koeman left for Feyenoord,

They are said to have remained close and Guardiola wants Koeman to turn Barcelona back into a winning machine in Spain after the turbulence of the 2019-20 season.

On Saturday, Koeman will take charge of his first Clasico as a head coach, making him the seventh Dutch boss to lead Barcelona into the prestigious LaLiga fixture.

Of those six Dutchmen who have preceded him, only Louis van Gaal was able to win his first Clasico a 3-2 vic…

Varane to leave Man Utd at end of season

Raphael Varane will depart Manchester United when his contract expires at the end of this season.

The France defender, who is currently sidelined through injury, is set to leave the Red Devils after three years at Old Trafford.

Varane has made 93 appearances for the club since arriving from Real Madrid in August 2021, scoring two goals, and was part of the side that won the EFL Cup in 2023.

United occupy eighth place in the Premier League table with two games remaining in what has been a torrid 2023-24 campaign, and are in danger of missing out on European qualification.

Nevertheless, the 31-year-old is confident brighter times lie ahead for the club.

Thank you for everything,

Best Super Bowl Touchdown Props: Pulling Out All the Stops

I’m still bitter that Detroit’s Anthony Firkser didn’t score in the NFC Championship game two weeks back, despite an opportunity handed to him on a platter.

I still got Isiah Pacheco at solid plus money, but with one last game, I’m taking the same approach as last week as I break down the Super Bowl touchdown props. Three tiers of plane breakers: the favorites, the mids, and the longshots.

For the final edition of TDs, which were profitable on the season at +4.395 units, my Super Bowl player props back a pair of KC pass catchers and gets creative with Christain McCaffrey’s NFL odds as the most probable TD scorer.

Here are my three best Super Bowl touchdown picks that you will find amongst Super Bowl odds this week.

Patrick Mahomes Picks, Predictions, and Best Bets for Monday Night Football: Mahomes Magic

With the New Orleans Saints taking on the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, it’s time to dive into some Patrick Mahomes odds.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback is now without a number of receivers but can stay undefeated this season with the help of Travis Kelce. We break down his props and NFL picks in our Saints vs. Chiefs predictions below.

Super Bowl Predictions: Chris Jones Under 2.5 Tackles + Assists

Super Bowl 58 is the Kansas City Chiefs’ fourth Super Bowl appearance in the last five years, but this is the first time where their defense has carried them here.

While Patrick Mahomes and the offense have gotten most of the credit in the past, the Chiefs have been better on the defensive side of the ball this season, and Chris Jones is the anchor of this stop unit.

That said, being the biggest name on this K.C. defense also means that we’re seeing some inflated Super Bowl player props when it comes to the latest Chris Jones odds. That means I’ll be looking to fade the star defensive tackle in the Super Bowl odds.

Find out why with my best NFL picks for Jones at Super Bowl 58 on February 11.

Why Your Team Sucks 2015: Denver Broncos

Some people are fans of the Denver Broncos. But many, many more people are NOT fans of the Denver Broncos. This 2015 Deadspin NFL team preview is for those in the latter group. Read all the previews so far here. Your team: the Denver Broncos. THE FIGHTIN’ HORSIES! Your 2014 record: 12-4. Cue the snuff film… Your coach: Gary Kubiak. Wait, really? WHY? Listen, man: If you’re gonna fire John Fox and his entire staff (It was a good staff!) in a fit of rage, you better have a plan. You better come back to everyone with a reasonable replacement. You can’t trot out Gary fucking Kubiak and tell people it’s an improvement. Fox’s career record was 118–89 when he got shitcanned. Kubiak’s? 61–64. This is a scandal. This is John Elway using Fox as a scapegoat for Peyton Manning…

Giants aim to end multiple streaks Thursday night

data-mm-id=”_5vqls4pye”>The game between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football has suddenly become a lot more interesting. The Cowboys have dropped their last two games, looking unimpressive in both. The Giants got their first win of the season Sunday, 21-15, over the Cleveland Browns, equaling the Cowboys' only win of the season, 33-17 against the Browns, in Week 1. New York has some added incentive to win Thursday night. The Giants have lost eight games in a row on Thursday, including two Thanksgiving games, with their last win coming in 2015 against Washington. The matchup is an old rivalry, and the Giants haven't beaten the Cowboys in their last six matchups, and only once in the last 14. They haven't beat the Cowboys with Dak Prescott at …

Man City star ‘requests transfer’ as Guardiola ‘approves’ £35m exit; four PL clubs ‘vying’ for signing

According to reports, four Premier League clubs are vying to sign Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips, who is keen to move elsewhere this summer.

has endured a nightmare spell at the Etihad after leaving boyhood club Leeds United to join Man City for around £42m during the 2022 summer transfer window.

Phillips to leave Man City ?

The England international has only made 16 Premier League appearances for as he has been behind star player Rodri in the pecking order.
